Starlink begins shipping Router 4 to new home subscribers in US and Canada
The Wi-Fi 7 router supports up to 510 connected devices, but Starlink has not announced a standalone price or a router-only upgrade option.

Starlink confirmed on November 6 that new customers in the United States and Canada are receiving its first Wi-Fi 7 router with eligible residential packages. Router 4 is bundled with V4 Kits for subscribers choosing Residential 200 Mbps or Residential Max.
The company rates the indoor router’s coverage at up to 325 m² (3,500 sq ft), with support for as many as 510 devices connected simultaneously. Its tri-band configuration uses the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, reserving one radio for mesh connections. It does not include a 6 GHz radio.
Router 4 has two Ethernet ports that support Power over Ethernet and can receive power through either its WAN connection or USB-C. The unit weighs 0.4 kg and is intended only for indoor use.
Customers on the two eligible plans previously received Router 3, which uses Wi-Fi 6. In the US, Residential 200 Mbps costs US$85 monthly and limits downloads to 200 Mbps. Residential Max costs US$130 monthly and advertises download speeds above 400 Mbps.
Starlink has not disclosed what Router 4 would cost separately or announced a router-only upgrade option for current subscribers. The shipping announcement did not cover Residential 100 Mbps, Roam or business plans.
