Vivo has added the Y6k to its smartphone lineup in China, pairing a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with a 6,500mAh battery. The 5G phone costs 1,599 yuan and runs OriginOS 6, Vivo's system built on Android 16.

The display is a 6.74-inch LCD, with 1,600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Vivo advertises brightness reaching 1,200 nits in HBM. Buyers can choose blue, white or black.

Inside, the processor has eight cores with speeds reaching 2.4 GHz, alongside a Mali-G57 GPU. The handset includes 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Charging is supported at 15W, and Vivo says the battery can retain its performance for up to five years. A 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera both have an f/2.2 aperture.

Other features include fingerprint authentication through a side-mounted sensor, face recognition and infrared remote control. Connectivity options cover Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
