Razer’s Hammerhead V3 Chroma gaming earbuds are available to order through the company’s website for US$79.99. The model uses a wired USB-C connection rather than Bluetooth and comes with a two-year warranty.

Audio hardware pairs 11mm dynamic drivers with 6mm tweeters. Users can adjust an equalizer or select presets for calls, movies, music and gaming. On PCs, Razer’s Synapse software provides access to THX Surround Sound 7.1.

The earbuds have a 1.2-meter (3.93-foot) cable ending in a low-profile, 90-degree connector. Razer says the connector is intended to fit flush against handheld gaming systems, phones and tablets while helping reduce cable strain. An IPX4 rating covers exposure to sweat, light rain and splashes.

An in-line remote controls playback, volume and active noise cancellation, while an omnidirectional microphone handles voice input. The earbuds also include RGB lighting with 16.8 million colors, which can synchronize with other Razer equipment or be switched off.
