Apple releases iOS 27.3 public beta with Health redesign and Safari changes
The update expands Siri AI actions and adds one-handed controls for the unfolded iPhone Duo display.
Apple has made its first public beta of iOS 27.3 available for iPhone, restoring a Health app redesign and introducing changes to Safari, Siri AI and display controls. The developer beta arrived on November 3.
The redesigned Health app appeared during testing of iOS 27.2 but was omitted from that version’s final release. On Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhones, an Insights tab combines sleep and activity trends with other information. A separate Longevity tab includes Health Age, which draws on Apple Watch data to compare health metrics with typical values for a user’s age.
Safari gains an option to place tabs along the side of the browser. Adaptive Dark Mode darkens websites lacking a dark theme of their own. Siri AI can create and save playlists, arrange for an iMessage to be sent later and add Journal entries through new actions in Apple apps.
For the iPhone Duo, Reachability moves content toward either edge when the display is unfolded, making thumb access easier. Other iPhones gain additional StandBy clock customization, including color and complication options.
Apple Fitness+ also adds Gym Strength, which creates a four-week lifting program based on users’ goals and available equipment.
