Call of Duty: Warzone is no longer playable on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One following a shutdown on November 6. Activision had announced the decision earlier in the year, with access withdrawn in stages before the older consoles went offline.

The shutdown does not affect availability on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S or PC. It coincides with the November 6 launch of Season 1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

Players moving to newer consoles can carry over progression and content bought with COD Points by linking their Activision accounts. Restrictions apply to unused COD Points: balances can move between consoles in the same platform family, but transfers between PlayStation and Xbox are not necessarily supported.

The withdrawal began on June 4, when digital stores for both older platforms stopped offering the game for download. Real-money purchases were also halted, and the in-game shop was removed on June 25.
