Panasonic unveils RB-HJ800 headphones with claimed 100-hour battery life
Panasonic says playback reaches up to 100 hours without active noise cancellation, or approximately 72 hours with it enabled.

Panasonic announced its RB-HJ800 wireless headphones in Japan on November 6, 2026, listing them for ¥14,850 on its Japanese online store. The company claims the model can deliver up to 100 hours of playback when active noise cancellation (ANC) is disabled.
With ANC switched on, Panasonic puts battery life at approximately 72 hours. Actual performance depends on settings and use. The company says the RB-HJ800 has the longest battery life in its wireless headphone range.
The Japanese launch date differs between listings. Panasonic's product page gives November 18, while its online store and several retailers in Japan list November 19. Pricing and availability outside Japan have not been confirmed.
The headphones feature 40mm drivers and a Bass Enhancer controlled by a button. Panasonic says padding on the headband and ear cushions is designed to limit pressure during longer listening sessions. The model has a single-arm construction and can fold in two configurations for storage. Its three color options draw on traditional Japanese colors: Shikkoku (black), Shironeri (white) and Umezome (pink).
