iOS 27.3 beta brings back redesigned Apple Health app
Apple outlined new Insights and Longevity tabs, along with movement assessments using an iPhone camera and Apple Watch.

Apple has brought its redesigned Health app back into testing with the first beta of iOS 27.3, after previously including it in the iOS 27.2 beta. The upgraded app will reach all users with iOS 27.3.
In an announcement on Apple Newsroom, the company said the new Insights tab summarizes information covering sleep, heart health, fitness, readiness, vital signs and cycle tracking. Its For You section provides recommendations based on daily habits, alongside educational material featuring clinical experts.
The Longevity tab examines health measurements over time. Apple said its Health Age feature uses Apple Watch readings, including VO2 max, sleep, resting heart rate and heart rate variability, to indicate how the body is tracking against chronological age. Users can supplement those readings with laboratory results, including A1c and LDL cholesterol.
Apple also outlined home-based movement assessments that combine an iPhone camera with Apple Watch. These measure flexibility, balance, strength, movement mechanics and VO2 max, providing audio and visual feedback. The company said the assessments use on-device vision AI developed with clinical experts and do not record, retain or share video.
Language support is also expanding. Apple listed global English, both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and French, alongside Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
