Apple Intelligence features are available to beta users in China for the first time through iOS 27.3 beta 1. Apple’s announced lineup covers translation, image tools and summaries, although Siri AI is not part of the rollout.

Apple lists real-time translation for Messages, FaceTime and Phone, as well as compatible AirPods. Other additions include writing tools, visual intelligence and Genmoji. In Photos, users get Clean Up, searches using natural language and the ability to create memories from prompts.

The lineup also includes email prioritization and summaries in Apple Mail, plus Smart Reply for both Mail and Messages. Notifications gain summaries and priority handling, alongside the Reduce Distractions Focus Mode. Notes can summarize audio transcriptions, and summaries are also available for call transcripts.

Although Siri AI remains unavailable, Apple lists Siri changes including typed interactions, better natural-language support and retention of conversational context. The China rollout draws on capabilities from iOS 26 and iOS 18 rather than the new AI features introduced with iOS 27.
