macOS 27.3 beta adds animated Pro Light screensaver
The screensaver draws on wallpaper designed for the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display.
Pro Light, a screensaver that animates Apple’s latest MacBook Pro wallpaper, is included in the first macOS 27.3 beta. Its lighting effect traces a design spelling out “PRO.”
The wallpaper was created to accompany the launch of the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display. It uses curved lines with a metallic appearance, incorporating the product name into the artwork.
In the screensaver, illumination travels slowly across those lines rather than lighting the entire design at once. Different sections of the lettering become visible in turn, while previously illuminated areas darken.
