Unverified iPhone 18 images suggest shared design with iPhone 18e
Purported X-ray scans indicate matching battery dimensions and internal layouts, but the forum post warns that the images may not be genuine.

Two unverified X-ray images purportedly depicting Apple's unreleased iPhone 18 models suggest the standard version and the iPhone 18e could use a common internal design, with different rear-camera arrangements. Apple leaker Littertree66 reposted the images on November 5 to the Qualcomm forum on Baidu Tieba.
The poster identifies Taycan (V67 K) as the standard model and Nevera (V69) as the iPhone 18e. The scans show matching positions for the logic boards, batteries and MagSafe coils. Taycan has two rear cameras, while Nevera has one, with presumed plastic filler occupying space used by additional camera components in Taycan.
Annotations accompanying Taycan claim that eliminating the physical SIM tray and changing the speaker and haptic motor design increase battery capacity to 4,430 mAh from 3,671 mAh. Nevera's annotations list the same proposed capacity, compared with the iPhone 17e's rated 4,005 mAh.
Littertree66 also claims both phones have a Dynamic Island and steel-encased batteries. However, the images lack independent verification, and the Tieba post acknowledges they could be inauthentic. They carry an OpenAI watermark, possibly linked to translation of the diagrams into Chinese. Any hardware shown could be pre-production rather than representative of the final retail devices.
