Meta has introduced Style Sketch, an AI fashion app that helps users organize their clothes and explore outfit combinations. Its availability is limited to Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, where it has launched for Android and iOS.

Users can create a digital wardrobe by connecting Facebook and Instagram accounts, allowing the app to draw on pictures they have posted. Alternatively, they can supply images saved on their phones or take new photographs of their clothing without linking social accounts.

Style Sketch suggests combinations from that wardrobe and lets users view outfits on a virtual model matched to their skin tone and body type. Suggestions can start with a selected garment, take account of weather information supplied by the user or provide clothing plans for a trip.

Social media consultant Matt Navarra first reported the app's existence on X. The launch follows Meta's introduction of Waddle World in the Philippines, a Tamagotchi-like game. Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg has said the company is releasing more apps because AI has made development easier.
