Larridin raises US$30 million in Series A funding
The startup measures companies’ AI spending and output. Its latest financing brings total funding to US$47 million.

Larridin said it raised US$30 million in a Series A round led by Pelion Ventures, taking its funding total to US$47 million. Andreessen Horowitz and Gradient Ventures returned as investors in the San Francisco startup after backing its US$17 million seed round.
The company’s software matches AI usage and costs with work produced by employees and AI agents. It aims to identify where businesses benefit from AI, where further investment could go and which workflows could be automated. SurveyMonkey, Vertiv, Klaviyo and Gainsight are among its customers.
In an interview with Business Insider, chief executive Russ Fradin said the business had grown from one enterprise customer last December to 50. He linked a second-quarter pickup in business to companies’ increasing concern over AI expenses and said he intends to double the 20-person team.
According to Larridin, its platform has measured over 2 billion AI sessions and tracked over 82,000 workflows. The company claims its customers recorded an average increase of 47% in measurable team output, alongside median AI spending optimization of US$2.4 million during the first year.
Separately, Larridin launched a quarterly Engineering AI Impact Report based on information from more than 1,000 customer engineers. The report put the share of AI-assisted pull requests at 62% in September, up from 35% in April. It also found a 50% increase over that period in the median time spent waiting for an initial human code review.
