The horror card game Inscryption is heading to mobile, its development team announced during a Twitch broadcast marking the game's fifth anniversary. Creator Daniel Mullins appeared on the official stream, where the team shared plans to bring the game to mobile app stores.

The team said work on the adaptation would take more time, with further information about the mobile release expected over the coming months.

Daniel Mullins Games also said it has no plans for additional downloadable content at present. Explaining that decision on Reddit, the studio said it considers Inscryption complete in both its story and gameplay. It said it did not want to expand the game merely to add material or benefit from its success, emphasizing the importance of retaining its atmosphere and identity.

The studio's main development priority remains Pony Island 2. That sequel to 2016's Pony Island is scheduled to arrive on Steam on April 27, 2027.
