Apple is extending returns for most holiday purchases into January 2027, with eligibility periods and deadlines varying by country, according to its website. The policy covers purchases from its stores, website and Apple Store app, though some products are excluded.

Customers in countries including Canada, the U.S., Germany, Ireland, the U.K., the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand can return eligible purchases until January 8, 2027. The qualifying purchase period starts November 6 and ends December 25.

For online purchases, Apple specifies that eligibility depends on when products are received: deliveries from November 6 through December 25 qualify for the January 8 deadline. Purchases after December 25 in those countries follow the standard return period of 14 days, or 15 days in Canada.

A longer holiday schedule applies in countries including Japan, Mexico, Spain and Italy. There, qualifying purchases from November 6 through January 6, 2027 can be returned until January 20, 2027. Exceptions to the extended policy include certain carrier-financed iPhones and iPads.
