tvOS 27.2 adds FaceTime tools and Siri Remote tracking
The update also expands screen saver options, while Precision Finding remains limited to the fourth-generation Siri Remote.

Apple has released tvOS 27.2 for the second-generation Apple TV 4K and newer models, adding FaceTime features, more screen saver controls and Siri Remote tracking. Apple says the software also includes security patches and bug fixes.
According to Apple’s update notes, FaceTime links allow users to join calls directly on Apple TV. The software also supports adding third-party sign language interpretation and captioning services to calls.
For screen savers, users can select individual photos through an iPhone without giving Apple TV access to their entire photo library. A separate shuffle setting rotates among screen saver categories.
Find My now allows an iPhone to locate a second-generation or newer Siri Remote. Precision Finding, however, is available only with the fourth-generation remote.
The software is the first Apple TV update following September’s tvOS 27 launch; Apple did not issue tvOS 27.1. Update details appear in an Apple support document rather than in the Apple TV Settings app.
Apple has said Siri AI will support the second-generation Apple TV 4K and newer hardware, but tvOS 27.2 has not enabled it on existing models. The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, which includes Siri AI among its announced features, is scheduled to launch November 13.
