Snap reports more than 30 million subscribers across paid plans
The company said non-advertising revenue rose 84 percent from a year earlier, while advertising growth fell short of its ambitions.

Snap said its subscription services now have more than 30 million paying users, announcing the milestone alongside its third-quarter results. Revenue in its non-advertising “other” category increased 84 percent from a year earlier, the company said.
The company did not disclose subscriber numbers for individual plans. It said Lens+, which provides AI-powered augmented reality effects, had grown nearly 600% since January 2026. Chief Executive Evan Spiegel told investors that AI features had helped the service perform better than the company expected.
Snap launched Snapchat+ in 2022 with extra features, including a way to identify friends who watched a Story again. Its paid offerings have since expanded to include Lens+, the advertising-free Platinum tier and storage for the app’s Memory feature.
Spiegel said advertising revenue growth remained below the company’s ambitions. Snap added 2 million daily users from the previous quarter and reported 977 million monthly users. It plans to emphasize monthly rather than daily user reporting starting in 2027.
Snap also warned that litigation and greater regulatory attention to youth-related issues could affect its outlook. It faces multiple lawsuits alleging safety problems, while state attorneys general have sought additional safety measures following Meta’s settlement.
