Garmin has released Beta 19.15 globally through its Beta Program for the Venu 4 smartwatch, reporting 23 changes, including 14 bug fixes. The firmware begins the public v19.xx development cycle and follows Beta 18.27.

Among the fixes, Garmin says the update addresses unexpected restarts when users answer calls on the watch or begin GPS activities with Bluetooth headphones connected. It also targets occasional resets during shutdown and battery drain associated with Alipay.

Other changes address inconsistent Bluetooth headset volume controls and synchronization. Notifications during high-intensity workout intervals are delayed, while the Pulse Ox app now suppresses vibrations only during a measurement.

Garmin also says the software improves detection of swimming stroke types and lengths. It adds pairing-mode instructions for HRM 200 and HRM 600 devices, puts favorite activities first in Change Sport and adds manual snooze options for move alerts.

Beta 19.15 is not currently being delivered over the air. Participants must manually request the download using the watch’s software update menu.
