Garmin has begun distributing Beta Version 24.13 globally to participants in its smartwatch beta program. The company says the software includes 18 fixes, addressing problems ranging from crashes and map displays to audio playback and heart rate data.

The update covers the Fenix 8 series, including the Fenix 8 Pro, alongside the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Tactix 8. Delivery is over the air rather than through the watches’ manual update-check option. It follows Beta Version 24.12, which Garmin says brought 45 changes.

According to Garmin’s forum changelog, the latest version targets crashes when opening maps or recording track runs, as well as watches becoming unresponsive following lengthy USB connections. It also addresses a black screen that could appear while saving a point of interest and distorted sound from alarms and notifications.

Other corrections concern missing watch-face data, inaccurate dive entry and exit locations, and heart rate broadcasting stopping when Bluetooth is switched off. Garmin also lists fixes for activity-summary heart rate graphs, map theme selection and address-search magnification. The changes are bug fixes rather than additional features.
