Apple could refresh much of its tablet range with up to three new models, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported. The anticipated releases would likely span the entry-level iPad, the mid-range iPad Air and the iPad Pro, with different hardware changes planned for each.

According to the report, an A19 processor paired with 8GB of RAM would give the base iPad access to Apple Intelligence. The model would also gain Apple's N1 chip and C1X modem, supporting Wi-Fi 7 and sub-6 GHz 5G. The reported benefits include faster connections and lower battery consumption.

An OLED screen is reported for the iPad Air, bringing its display technology in line with the iPad mini. Processor improvements are also expected for the Air.

For the Pro, the report identifies the M6 or a future M7 as possible replacements for the M5 processor. A vapor chamber is also likely, intended to improve internal cooling as the tablet generates additional heat, especially while running AI tasks.
