Apple has released iOS 27.1 over the air for the iPhone Duo, while other iPhone models will move directly to iOS 27.2. The limited rollout means owners of other models will not receive the intermediate version.

For those phones, the Software Update screen in Settings continues to show iOS 27.0.1 as the latest available version. The forthcoming iOS 27.2 update will be available to all users following a month of beta testing.

Changes in iOS 27.2 include Suggested Actions in Messages, a redesigned Apple Music app with a new icon, and profiles for Apple TV users. Apple Podcasts will also receive a reworked Up Next queue.

FaceTime will gain Dual Capture for group calls, while Siri AI will support additional languages. The iPhone Duo, which Apple unveiled the previous month, introduces custom iOS designs and features; its iOS 27.1 software did not go through a beta cycle.
