Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Band 4 in China with a launch price of CNY 169. The fitness tracker offers 50 sports modes, continuous heart rate tracking and a battery-life rating of up to 21 days.

The maximum runtime depends on leaving continuous health monitoring switched off. With that monitoring enabled, the stated battery life falls to around 8 days. The band also carries a 5ATM water-resistance rating.

Its 1.47-inch TFT display has a resolution of 172x320 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 450 nits. Xiaomi uses 2.5D curved glass over the screen, while the wearable's construction includes a metal mid-frame.

Beyond its exercise and health-tracking functions, the Redmi Band 4 includes controls for music and access to weather updates. Users can also choose from more than 100 watch faces to change the appearance of the display.
