Xgimi has introduced a High Brightness Edition of its RS30 Pro laser projector in China, with JD.com listing it at CN¥7,299. The company rates the new 4K model at 4,500 CVIA lumens, compared with the standard version’s 3,200 CVIA lumens.

Gaming features include support for 120Hz input at 4K resolution, AMD FreeSync Premium, variable refresh rate and an automatic low-latency mode. Connections include a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, one supporting eARC, alongside USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Wireless options are Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6.

The light source is Xgimi’s QuaLas42 system, incorporating 26 laser chips. The company lists native contrast at 4,000:1, matching the standard RS30 Pro, which launched in April. Its claimed dynamic contrast reaches 60,000:1, up from the earlier model’s 50,000:1.

Xgimi says the projector covers 98% of the BT.2020 color gamut. Supported formats include HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and the unit has IMAX Enhanced certification. Its gimbal mount allows horizontal rotation of 360 degrees and vertical tilt of 135 degrees, while automatic setup features handle focus, screen alignment, keystone correction and obstacle avoidance.

A MediaTek MT9681 chip is paired with 64GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. Audio comes from two Harman Kardon speakers rated at 12W each. The unit weighs 4.9 kg, and Xgimi specifies operating noise of 28dB or lower. The company has not disclosed plans to sell this edition outside China.
