Vivo has introduced its X500 smartphone lineup internationally after an initial launch in China, with three models: X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. Prices and availability dates for individual global markets have not yet been confirmed.

The two Pro versions use MediaTek’s 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, while the base model runs on the Dimensity 9600M. The Pro has a 6.36-inch display and the Pro Max a 6.85-inch display, both with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The standard X500 has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, also running at 144Hz.

Camera systems developed with Zeiss include a 50MP main sensor on each Pro model. Their telephoto hardware differs: the Pro Max has a 200MP periscope camera, compared with a 64MP telephoto camera on the Pro. Both also have a 50MP ultrawide camera and can use an optional ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, offering a 400mm-equivalent focal length.

For video, both Pro models support slow-motion recording at 4K 240fps, alongside 10-bit capture with 422 encoding and ACES support. The Pro Max additionally offers 8K 30fps recording. The base X500 combines a 50MP main camera with a 64MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera.

Battery capacities are 8,000 mAh for the Pro Max, 6,510 mAh for the Pro and 7,500 mAh for the X500. Every model supports wired charging at 90W and wireless charging at 40W. All carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and run OriginOS 7, based on Android 17.
