Reports on Samsung’s forums describe a bug preventing some Galaxy S26 Ultra devices from moving beyond initial setup. The affected phones show an error for a Samsung account page, leaving users unable to continue the process.

A Samsung representative responding on the forum said the problem appeared to follow the device’s UI 9.0 update. According to the representative, the development team confirmed that the issue occurs with an unstable system WebView on certain networks.

The error indicates that the account webpage is unavailable. The problem appears to arise during setup, so users are unlikely to encounter it unless they reset their phones.

Changing the connection from Wi-Fi to mobile data has been reported as a possible workaround, although results may vary.
