Oppo sets November launch for Reno17 series as China reservations open
The Pad Air 6 tablet and Watch 5 smartwatch will join the phones at the launch event. Oppo has yet to announce prices or an exact date.

Oppo’s Reno17 smartphone series is due to launch in November 2026, with blind reservations now available in China. The company announced the timing on Weibo but omitted prices, technical specifications and the precise launch date.
The reservation program covers the phones as well as the Pad Air 6 and Watch 5, a tablet and smartwatch scheduled for the same event. Customers can register through Chinese e-commerce platforms or Oppo’s own online store.
In official previews, Oppo has shown a new Notes app for the Pad Air 6, alongside a feature for transferring files with one tap. The company has not specified the number of phones in the Reno17 range.
Leaks point to standard and Pro models for China, with ColorOS 17, based on Android 17, expected on both. Tipster Digital Chat Station says the Pro model will pair MediaTek’s Dimensity 8550 Super chipset with a flat OLED screen measuring 6.32 inches, offering 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Digital Chat Station also lists a 200MP main camera and battery capacity of around 7,000mAh. Another tipster, Debayan Roy, claims the Pro will offer wired charging at 80W, a metal frame and an IP69 rating. The published leaks differ on some details.
