Huawei has introduced the Enjoy 100 Pro Max smartphone in China, pairing an 8,800mAh battery with a 6.84-inch OLED screen. Prices start at ¥1,999 for 128GB of storage, rising to ¥2,399 for 256GB and ¥2,899 for 512GB.

The battery supports 40W fast charging. Huawei says its laboratory testing showed up to 29 hours of online playback of long-form videos. The screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2,756 x 1,272 pixels and 2,160Hz PWM dimming. Huawei puts peak brightness at 8,000 nits under a 1% APL condition.

Storage capacity also determines the processor: the two lower-capacity versions use the Kirin 8020A, while the 512GB version uses the Kirin 8020. Each configuration includes 8GB of RAM, and the phone runs HarmonyOS 7.

Photography hardware consists of a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. There is no ultrawide or telephoto camera. Other features include stereo speakers, a fingerprint reader on the side, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7 and BeiDou satellite messaging.

The handset is 7.98 mm thick and weighs approximately 228 grams. Buyers can choose Sand Gold, Azure Ocean, Snow White or Obsidian Black.
