Retro game emulator Delta has released version 2.0, adding support for the iPhone Duo alongside a redesigned Liquid Glass interface. The update also brings compatibility with Sega Genesis ROMs, changes to library navigation and additional audio settings.

Controller skins adapt to different iPhone Duo configurations. Nintendo DS layouts can fill the inner display and extend across its crease when the device is partly folded upright in book mode. The interface also adjusts to the outer display when the phone is closed. Folding the Duo shut automatically puts the emulated DS into sleep mode.

In landscape Split View, Delta can display the lower portion of the virtual DS as a custom keyboard. That lets the controls extend beyond the app’s usual half-screen allocation and across the display, overlapping the neighboring app.

The revised audio options let game sound play together with music or podcasts already running. Delta’s premium version is now available worldwide through an App Store in-app subscription. Users in the US, EU, Brazil and Japan can also support Delta through Patreon.
