Cloudflare said its platform now has more than 10 million developers, compared with 7.4 million a quarter earlier. The company attributed the increase of about 35% over three months to AI agents, saying developers are using AI tools to accelerate coding and application development.

Applications are increasingly being built for agents alongside human users, according to Cloudflare. In a separate blog post, the company reported that daily AI-agent requests across its network had increased by more than 1,700% over a year. It also said nonhuman activity accounted for more than half of internet traffic this year for the first time.

The developer business started nearly a decade ago with Workers, a serverless platform that executes code using lightweight isolates instead of containers or virtual machines. Cloudflare has since added offerings including databases, storage, AI models, monitoring, media and real-time services. It has also used Workers to operate a browser for AI agents.

Cloudflare said its network covers more than 340 cities across over 130 countries and connects to 13,888 networks. External capacity stands at 590 terabits per second, according to the company. It did not disclose revenue for its developer business or specify how many developers are paying customers.
