Chuwi has introduced the GameBook Max gaming laptop, pairing an 18-inch screen with Intel processor options and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics. The company’s US storefront lists both configurations as available to order.

The US$1,799 model combines a Core i7-14650HX processor with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. At US$2,099, the other version has a Core i9-14900HX, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Both use 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. Chuwi puts maximum graphics power at 115W, including 15W from Dynamic Boost alongside a 100W TGP.

The IPS screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1920 × 1200 and a refresh rate of 144Hz. That makes it larger than the original GameBook’s 16-inch display, but lower in resolution and refresh rate: the earlier model offered 2560 × 1600 and 300Hz. Its graphics hardware was a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti carrying 12GB of VRAM.

Memory can be expanded to 64GB using two SO-DIMM slots, while storage expansion is supported through two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slots. The GameBook Max weighs 2.8 kg and measures 21.6 mm in thickness.

Chuwi specifies a 77.77Wh battery and a 250W adapter, plus USB-C Power Delivery charging up to 140W. Connections include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, HDMI 2.1 and Mini DisplayPort 2.1a. There are also three USB-A ports and two USB-C ports, alongside four speakers, an RGB-backlit keyboard and a 720p webcam fitted with a privacy shutter.
