Apple has published repair instructions for the newly launched iPhone Duo, providing users and independent technicians with procedures for individual components. However, the company’s Self Service Repair Store does not yet offer replacement parts for the phone.

The documentation covers replacements for the inner and outer displays, cameras, speakers, logic board and USB-C connector, among other components. It provides distinct procedures for Battery 1 and Battery 2, along with instructions covering Volume Buttons and Touch ID/Camera Control Buttons.

Diagrams map the phone’s internal components, and accompanying lists identify replacement parts and the tools required for repairs. Dedicated safety guidance addresses work involving batteries or broken glass, setting out precautions and procedures intended to limit the risk of injury or damage.

Apple advises users and technicians to review the manual in full before starting and attempt repairs only if they are comfortable carrying out the instructions. Separately, its support documentation addresses possible hardware and software problems, including hinge issues and troubleshooting for Touch ID and displays.
