Anker has introduced its Laptop Charger Pro in the US for US$59.99, offering a maximum output of 100W through one USB-C port. The GaN charger is available from Amazon and Anker’s website, while a European release has not yet taken place.

Anker says its Care Mode recognizes certain laptop and iPhone models and adapts charging to suit them. For MacBooks, users can choose a charging cap between 80% and 100%. The company claims this feature can increase battery lifespan by up to 40%. An Auto Mode provides an alternative for users prioritizing faster charging.

A built-in screen shows temperature, charging progress and live power output, as well as animations and interactive visuals. The charger supports several fast-charging protocols.

The new model replaces the three ports of Anker’s earlier 100W smart-display charger with a single connection. It is smaller and lighter than that model, weighs 6.81 oz (193 g) and has folding prongs. Buyers can choose dark gray or silver, and a USB-C cable is included. Its price is US$10 below the older three-port model.
