Agility selects Nvidia computing for Digit 5 ahead of planned Nasdaq listing
Early access to the humanoid robot is expected in 2027’s first half, followed by a broader rollout over six to nine months.

Agility Robotics says Nvidia will exclusively provide the onboard computing for the commercial version of its Digit 5 humanoid robot. The agreement makes Nvidia’s IGX Thor modules the machine’s sole onboard computer as Agility prepares for a Nasdaq listing.
The company expects to begin offering early access during 2027’s first half. It then plans to expand availability over six to nine months to customers operating factories, warehouses and distribution centers.
Agility also plans to incorporate elements of Nvidia’s Halos safety platform into Digit’s people-detection system. Nvidia’s Halos inspection lab will examine the robot’s safety software, AI components and cybersecurity before an external body provides final certification.
Agility said its multi-year Digit 5 orders exceed US$300 million, contingent on certain contractual milestones. It also announced four new customers across the automotive, consumer goods and agriculture industries. Digit already operates with GXO, Schaeffler and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.
Under a separate commercial agreement, farm machinery manufacturer AGCO will begin testing Digit in 2027 at its Hesston, Kansas, factory. Tasks will include sorting and stacking parts and positioning storage totes. Agility also announced a new 50,000-square-foot Pittsburgh location for software and AI development, deployment teams and an East Coast service center.
Agility’s planned listing involves a merger with blank-check company Churchill Capital Corp XI. The companies expect completion in the fourth quarter and trading under AGLT. Their announcements identify risks including Agility’s past net losses and the possibility that it will not achieve commercial success.
