However, while Botox is a safe procedure that has been approved by the FDA, but patients may experience some minor pain or discomfort a the injection site during the process. Most people reported only experiencing mild discomfort and no long-term problems. However, there are a number of potential side effects, such as: muscle weakness, bruising at the injection site, injection site pain, headaches, nausea, dry mouth neck stiffness, neck pain, and fatigue.
