Jan 3, 2024

Non-lethal self-defense device wholesaler Safety Technology has released a new guide to stun guns, explaining the difference between the various types of devices available to help individuals choose the unit that suits their needs.

The latest guide, titled 'Different Types of Stun Guns,' explores the features of stun guns, also known as electroshock weapons, highlighting the compact size of these devices and the effective self-defense they provide without incurring severe harm to an attacker.

More information is available at https://www.safetytechnology.org/

In its recently published guide, Safety Technology reviews compact stun guns, stun batons, flashlight stun guns, keychain stun guns, tactical stun guns, and disguised stun guns. Being legal in most states, stun guns are widely preferred as self-protection devices as they are small enough to fit into a purse or pocket while giving owners enough time to escape or call for help.

Safety Technology explains that compact stun guns are portable, lightweight non-lethal weapons that come with a wrist strap or clip for ease of reach in high-stress situations. Compact stun guns also feature additional tools such as a flashlight or alarm for extra protection.

Stun guns offer a high level of protection as they deliver a strong electric shock that temporarily incapacitates a dangerous person. Individuals can choose from expandable batons, rechargeable stun batons, and stun batons with built-in flashlights or alarms, the guide explains.

Flashlights stun guns, as the name suggests, are multipurpose devices that offer both personal protection and illumination. "A stun gun flashlight is equipped with a powerful LED light that can produce a bright beam, ensuring visibility in dark or low-light situations," Safety Technology says. "Whether you’re walking alone at night or experiencing a power outage, this feature can be incredibly useful."

Small and lightweight, keychain stun guns are equipped with a convenient attachment for discreet and accessible means of self-protection. Safety Technology particularly points to keychain stun guns' portability, the element of surprise it brings to the attacker, accessible defense, discreet appearance, and non-lethal profile as their top advantages.

Suitable to carry while on the go, tactical stun guns are compact and portable, delivering a high-voltage shock that effectively “stuns” the perpetrator. These devices also have a built-in flashlight and rechargeable battery, the guide says.

Disguised stun guns can look like cell phones, mobile devices, pens, knives, and even a tube of lipstick. "With their inconspicuous appearances, they provide the element of surprise, allowing you to protect yourself in unexpected situations," Safety Technology adds.
