Lafayette-based entertainment collective earns four additional CommunityVotes Lafayette honors while continuing its Souled Out Tribute Series with THE ELEMENTS: The Music of Earth, Wind & Fire

Lafayette, Louisiana Oct 4, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - After more than 25 years of performing weddings, private events, festivals and corporate functions throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South, Souled Out Entertainment is celebrating a milestone year.

The company earned the 2026 Couples' Choice Award, following its induction into the WeddingWire/The Knot Hall of Fame in 2024.

Most recently, Souled Out Entertainment added four new CommunityVotes Lafayette 2026honors. Souled Out Entertainment received Platinum awards for Best in Wedding Entertainment, Best in Live Entertainment and Best Local Band, while The Dave Mouton EXPerience received Platinum recognition for Best in Wedding Entertainment.

For founder, bandleader and creative director Dave Mouton, the awards reflect the company's longstanding commitment to wedding entertainment.

We Know Weddings.

Souled Out has performed wedding receptions ranging from intimate celebrations to large-scale productions, emphasizing musicianship, professionalism, audience engagement and customized performances.

The company has also expanded through the Souled Out Tribute Series. Following its previous production celebrating the music of Silk Sonic, Souled Out launched its newest production in 2026:

THE ELEMENTS: The Music of Earth, Wind & Fire

THE ELEMENTS features vocalists, horns, rhythm section, percussion and production elements in a full-scale celebration of Earth, Wind & Fire.

Following its summer debut, THE ELEMENTS continues its 2026 run with three fall performances:

October 9 -- The Queen, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

THE ELEMENTS performs with The Dave Mouton EXPerience opening the evening.

October 10 -- Main Street Fall Festival, Patterson, Louisiana

THE ELEMENTS performs a 90-minute set as part of Patterson's annual Main Street celebration.

November 28 -- Paragon Casino Resort, Marksville, Louisiana

THE ELEMENTS performs in the Paragon Casino Resort showroom, again joined by The Dave Mouton EXPerience.

The production reflects Souled Out's growth from a Louisiana wedding and party band into a live-entertainment company producing weddings, corporate events, festivals, specialty shows and ticketed concerts.

"Weddings will always be an important part of who we are," said Mouton. "That's where Souled Out built its reputation, and after all these years, we still take a lot of pride in being trusted with those moments. At the same time, THE ELEMENTS shows another side of what Souled Out has become -- a true collective of musicians and performers from across Louisiana. We're planning broader live-music experiences, bigger shows and new experiences, while still bringing the same musicianship, energy and attention to the audience that people have associated with Souled Out for more than 25 years."
