A Niagara County native, Richard pursued his education at Niagara University, earning a finance degree in 1969. His professional journey commenced in the banking sector, dedicating seven years to HSBC Bank, where he worked in the Realty Credit and SBA divisions.
In 1986, Richard made a pivotal move to Washington D.C., assuming the role of Real Estate Director at Kinder Care Inc. His expertise shone in this position until 1996.
Post his tenure with Kinder Care Inc., Richard collaborated with Site Development Inc., focusing on the development of mixed-use projects in the Northeastern region. His commitment to real estate development expanded further with key roles in Combined Properties, Colliers Inc., and the Aspen Group, overseeing the development of over 4.5 million square feet of real estate.
Returning to Western New York in 2012, Richard joined Clove Group Inc., a prominent Senior Apartment Developer, as the Senior Vice President of Development. In 2016, he embraced a new challenge, becoming an Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker Integrity Real Estate.
Throughout his career, Richard has received numerous accolades for his outstanding contributions. Notably, he was honored with the prestigious President's Award for his exceptional work at Kindercare Learning Centers.
He attributes his success to his father, who was a skilled home builder. From a young age, his father imparted invaluable knowledge and wisdom that continues to guide him to this day.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Richard actively participates in philanthropic endeavors with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and The Niagara County Food Pantry. Engaged in ICSC, he serves as a Mentor in the Wilson School District, reflecting his commitment to community and mentorship.
In his leisure time, Richard enjoys snow skiing, boating, and staying fit. Meeting new individuals brings him great joy, and he remains dedicated to making a difference through his work and community involvement.
