The unfortunate law case with Pilotfly Taiwan has finally come to an end. They claimed that we are liars and had copied their brand and product! This is a serious claim to make! We decided to remain silent in an attempt to avoid insulting anyone and also out of respect for the privacy of family and friends, but that does not mean that we will allow such disrespect from Pilotfly Taiwan who, very often tried to damage our reputation by spreading lies and ill-founded claims about us!
My name is Marcus Oswald, I am the founder of Pilotfly GmbH and the owner of the PFY Trademark.
I can assure you that all of our ideas and products are conceived and developed in Germany. Why would a German engineer copy a product made by a Chinese/Taiwanese company? Copying products is not in our nature!
The European court decided that Pilotfly Germany is the official owner of the brand in the EU and the rightful owner of the 45degree gimbal pattern! So even by law, it has been made clear who is right and who is wrong!
We are incredibly sorry about the whole situation and hope that you, our valuable customers, will accept our apology, as this difficult time must have caused confusion to many of you!
You can be assured that we will do our best to fulfill our responsibility as PILOTFLY (PFY) to provide you with products that are as innovative and awesome as you have always known them to be.
Please note that as PILOTFLY Taiwan still exists, we decided over a year ago, to become a worldwide presence on the market with our new brand PFY.
Our mission was and still is to stick to the original plan, striving to perfect our Gimbals and other new product lines built up in the last year, such as; HDMI Transmitter EAGLEEYE, Lightning MATRIX, and other Audio and Video products like the VOICE Video Mic.
