Phoenix Distributing Expands Custom Home Builder Outreach with Addition of Dawn Lohr

Oct 6, 2026

Charleston-based residential fire protection company welcomes Dawn Lohr as Builder Partnerships Manager to strengthen relationships with custom home builders throughout the Lowcountry.

Charleston, United States, October 6, 2026 -- Phoenix Distributing, LLC, a residential fire protection company specializing in residential fire sprinkler solutions, today announced that Dawn Lohr has joined the company as Builder Partnerships Manager. In her new role, Lohr will focus on developing and supporting relationships with custom home builders, developers and other residential construction professionals throughout the Charleston area and surrounding Lowcountry.

As Phoenix Distributing continues expanding its residential fire sprinkler capabilities and builder-focused services, Lohr will serve as an important connection between the company and the residential construction community. Her responsibilities will include builder outreach, relationship development, educational initiatives and helping construction professionals better understand the planning and coordination involved in incorporating residential fire sprinkler systems into new homes.

Dawn Lohr, Builder Partnerships Manager at Phoenix Distributing, works with a custom home builder on residential fire protection planning in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

"Residential fire protection works best when it is considered early in the construction process and coordinated closely with the builder," said Phoenix Distributing CEO Charlie Stewart. "Dawn's ability to build relationships and communicate effectively makes her an excellent fit for what we're building at Phoenix. We want builders to view us as a long-term residential fire protection partner rather than simply another subcontractor."

Lohr is based in Charleston and holds a degree in Marketing from Loyola University Maryland. She brings an entrepreneurial background and extensive experience building relationships, communicating with diverse audiences and developing community connections. In addition to her business career, Lohr is a published author and speaker.

"I am excited to join Phoenix Distributing and have the opportunity to work directly with builders throughout the Lowcountry," said Lohr. "Residential fire sprinklers are an important part of protecting families and homes, and I look forward to helping builders better understand the solutions, resources and support Phoenix can provide."

Phoenix Distributing works with custom home builders, developers, contractors, plumbing professionals and other industry partners to provide residential fire sprinkler expertise from project planning and design through supply, installation and inspection support. The company's approach is designed to make residential fire protection easier to coordinate within the home-building process while supporting applicable project and code requirements.

The addition of Lohr comes as Phoenix increases its outreach to custom home builders throughout coastal South Carolina, including the greater Charleston area and communities extending along the Lowcountry coast.
