Singapore, 12th of August, 2024 - Planet Tota, a novel entertainment IP and Web3 undertaking from Asia, has brought in David M. Uslan as a Strategic Advisor. With a long and storied career as a publisher and producer, and a legacy of involvement in the development of the Batman Franchise, Uslan brings decades of IP and entertainment industry experience through the role.

David M. Uslan, along with his father Michael E. Uslan, the ‘Originator and Executive Producer’ of the original Batman movies franchise by Tim Burton, has played a key role in every Batman production from 1989 including the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy, Todd Philips’s Joker, and the recent ‘The Batman’ reboot starring Robert Pattinson. The father-son duo has also been involved in Constantine, National Treasure, Emmy nominated ‘Sabrina – Secrets Of A Teenage Witch’, the upcoming Apple series on the lives of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig produced alongside Lorne Michaels and the Yankee organization, and a number of other revered franchises and Hollywood productions.

Planet Tota features an alternate universe populated with hundreds of Asian superhero characters. Besides games, comics and metaverse, live action/animation movies and series around the lore is a key Planet Tota ecosystem offering. With CJ CGV, the Korean Entertainment Conglomerate, and distributors of Oscar-winning Parasite as distributor, the inclusion of David Uslan’s as an advisor is another important step in leading this Southeast Asian IP undertaking to become a global entertainment IP franchise.

Besides producing, publishing, and licensing entertainment IP, David M. Uslan is also the co-founder of IP3, an ecosystem and investor network that aims to leverage Web3 inclusive IP development in the entertainment industry.
