The free weekly email reached its first subscribers on October 4, and every new reader receives a one-page checklist for checking a token before buying it.

Belen, United States, October 5, 2026 /PressCable/ -- BELEN, New Mexico, October 6, 2026: DeFi Market Journal, an independent publication of plain-English guides to decentralized finance, crypto markets and NFTs, has launched the Sunday Briefing, a free weekly email for everyday readers who want to understand what happened in DeFi each week and what to check before they buy a token. The first issue reached subscribers on Sunday, October 4.
Each Sunday at 8 a.m. Eastern, the Briefing gathers the week's new guides from DeFi Market Journal at https://defimarketjournal.com and explains the week's market news in a few short items. The publication has released 27 guides since its launch, on topics from liquid staking and flash loans to how founders get listed on CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. Every guide names its sources, and none of them gives price predictions.
New subscribers receive "Check a Token in 10 Minutes", a free printable PDF with five checks a buyer can run on any token before putting money in. Past issues are archived at https://defimarketjournal.com/newsletter/ and the Briefing promises one email a week, no price calls and an unsubscribe link in every issue.
"I bought my first bitcoin in 2011 and spent years reading explanations written by people who wanted to sell me something. The Sunday Briefing is the email I wanted back then: what happened this week, what it means, and what to check before you put money in," said Robert Stone, publisher of DeFi Market Journal.
Stone has worked in public relations for 18 years and is deputy editor at Crypto Magazine.
The next issue goes out on Sunday, October 11, and readers can sign up free on the DeFi Market Journal website.
DeFi Market Journal also offers multimedia packages that turn announcements from crypto and DeFi projects into news articles, videos and podcasts. Details are at https://defimarketjournal.com/pr-packages.html for project teams.
