Xia men, China, October 3, 2026 -- The 26th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) concluded successfully at the Xiamen International Expo Center. Focusing on the development of the Demonstration Zone for Integrated Development across the Taiwan Strait, this year’s CIFIT leveraged its role as a national-level platform for two-way investment promotion. Co-hosted by the Association of Economy and Trade Across Taiwan Straits, the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, and the China (Xiamen) International Investment Promotion Center, the Fair established the Cross-Strait Integration and Development Exhibition Zone under the theme “Supply Chains Connecting the Strait, Shared Opportunities through Integration.”
The Exhibition Zone integrated achievement showcases, industry exchanges, and project matchmaking, creating a specialized platform for cross-Strait industrial cooperation and supporting Taiwan enterprises in expanding development opportunities on the mainland. During the Fair, the Zone attracted extensive media attention, with major outlets including Xinhuanet, China News Network, CCTV-4, Fujian Daily, Xiamen Star TV, and Southeast Network covering its activities through interviews, reports, and short videos. Related topics generated more than one million views across platforms, highlighting opportunities for Taiwan enterprises and demonstrating the momentum of cross-Strait economic and trade cooperation.

Building New Momentum for Cross-Strait Industrial Integration
Based on previous editions, the Cross-Strait Integration and Development Exhibition Zone was comprehensively upgraded this year. Covering 1,000 square meters, it featured three sections: the Taiwan-invested Enterprise Exhibition Zone, the Industrial Park Matchmaking Area, and the Roadshow Area.
The Zone focused on five key industries—semiconductors, precision machinery, biopharmaceuticals, financial services, and consumer food—bringing together 22 high-quality enterprises and institutions. The scale of participation doubled compared with the previous session, with nearly half of the participating Taiwan enterprises being listed companies. Leading enterprises including Dingrongyan Technology, Wells Advanced Materials, Hanbell Precise Machinery, ASE Technology, Runner Group, Metis TechBio, Lihpao Life Science, Jinyuan Group, Xiamen Bank, Uni-President, TenFu’s Tea, and Taizu Food showcased their technologies, products, and cooperation opportunities.
The Zone also brought together four national-level cross-Strait industrial cooperation platforms in Xiamen, Pingtan, Guangxi, and Hefei, demonstrating achievements in industrial integration and collaborative development.

As a representative of cross-Strait manufacturing cooperation, Xiamen Dingrongyan Technology presented its precision manufacturing capabilities, including screw air compressors and vacuum pumps. The company is investing 1.5 billion yuan to build an intelligent manufacturing base in Tongxiang High-tech New Town, creating a cooperation model based on joint technology development, market sharing, and mutual growth.
Han Yinghuan, Executive Vice President of the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, President of the Xiamen Taiwan Businessmen Association, and Chairman of Dingrongyan Technology, stated that the Exhibition Zone provides a professional platform for Taiwan enterprises to showcase technological achievements, connect with global markets, deepen mainland operations, and expand cooperation networks.
Runner Group Chairman Chen Daizhu noted that CIFIT provides important opportunities for Taiwan enterprises in Xiamen and encourages broader cooperation among enterprises from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, mainland provinces, and international markets. He emphasized the role of Xiamen as an important gateway for Taiwan enterprises seeking development opportunities.
The newly established Cross-Strait Industrial Parks Matchmaking Area provided one-stop services covering policy consultation, business connections, and project landing support. Hefei High-Tech Zone and the Cross-Strait Integrated Circuit Cooperation and Development Pilot Zone used CIFIT to promote cooperation between integrated circuit enterprises and Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. Meanwhile, Guangxi Zhiwojia Smart Agriculture presented the “Guangxi-Taiwan No.1” golden passion fruit project, showcasing cooperation achievements in modern agriculture.

Precision Matchmaking Creates Practical Cooperation Results
The Exhibition Zone strengthened the connection between investment demand and business opportunities through targeted matchmaking sessions focusing on integrated circuits, financial services, and consumer industries. More than 280 cross-Strait enterprises and institutions and over 400 industry professionals participated, generating cooperation opportunities and strengthening industrial connections.
Li Zhenghong, President of the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, highlighted CIFIT’s role as a high-quality platform connecting supply and demand, helping Taiwan enterprises explore markets, identify investment opportunities, and deepen industrial cooperation.
At the Finance-Empowered Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation and Development Matchmaking Conference, Jinyuan Group released an action plan supporting cross-Strait integration and development. Based on the needs of Taiwan enterprises at different development stages, the plan introduced 15 measures covering capital markets, industrial investment, financial services, and employment support.
Currently, Jinyuan Group’s cross-Strait joint financial institutions have registered capital totaling 5.4 billion yuan, serving approximately 100,000 Taiwan compatriots and 5,000 Taiwan-invested enterprises. During the conference, several cooperation projects were signed, covering industries such as food manufacturing, precision technology, catering, and healthcare.
Xiamen Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd., together with financial institutions and Taiwan-invested enterprises, launched specialized financing support programs, including interest subsidy measures to help private small and medium enterprises improve access to medium- and long-term financing.
Strengthening the CIFIT Platform and Expanding Cross-Strait Cooperation
The CIFIT business environment promotion activities for Taiwan enterprises have become an important platform for regional cooperation and industrial exchange. After four years of continuous development, the program has expanded in scale and influence.
This year, the event attracted around 150 Taiwan business representatives from organizations including the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, Taiwan Chambers of Commerce, and Taipei Chambers of Commerce. Representatives from five regions—Anhui, Hebei, Fujian, Guangxi, and Jilin—introduced their investment environments, industrial advantages, development platforms, and support policies, providing Taiwan enterprises with broader opportunities to participate in mainland market development.
Digital tools enhanced matchmaking efficiency through a full-chain service model covering pre-event matching, on-site negotiations, and post-event follow-up. Before the event, organizers collected investment intentions and cooperation demands from Taiwan enterprises and conducted targeted matching. Nearly 80 Taiwan business representatives submitted cooperation requests.
During the event, enterprise representatives held direct discussions with regional investment promotion teams on project implementation, industrial ecosystems, and future cooperation opportunities. Following the event, eight Taiwan-invested enterprises planned additional mainland investments, while two projects reached signed-intent agreements on-site.
Looking ahead, organizers will continue providing follow-up services to transform cooperation intentions into practical results, further strengthening cross-Strait industrial and supply chain integration while improving cooperation efficiency.
Through platforms such as CIFIT, cross-Strait enterprises continue to deepen exchanges, expand cooperation, and explore new opportunities for shared development.
