Nocturnal 2 set for November 10 PC release
The single-player sequel will cost $9.99, €9.99 or £7.99, with a 10% discount at launch, according to developer Sunnyside Games.

Swiss developer Sunnyside Games will release Nocturnal 2 through Steam for PC on November 10, 2026. Following its 2023 action-platformer, the studio is moving the sequel to Ytash, an interconnected city that players explore as returning protagonist Ardeshir.
Fire powers both fighting and exploration. Ardeshir can ignite his sword at fire sources to illuminate his surroundings and activate abilities, but enemies can extinguish it. Players can combine Fire Gems to gain spells and use the burning weapon to light torches and reactivate ancient mechanisms.
The hand-drawn city draws on Persian architecture. New abilities allow players to revisit locations and reach previously inaccessible routes. Steam lists secret endings, while arcana and poems are available to collect during exploration. A Steam demo became available on January 27.
Sunnyside’s minimum requirements specify 8GB of RAM and 4GB of storage, alongside 64-bit Windows 10. Processor options are an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200; graphics options are an Nvidia GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 560X. The stated performance target is 1080p at 60 FPS.
Only a PC launch is listed. Recommended specifications and a Steam Deck compatibility rating are not yet available, and Sunnyside has not announced the sequel’s length. Steam features include cloud saves, achievements and Family Sharing, with interfaces and subtitles supported in ten languages.
